Montreal’s Best Healthy Restaurants
Montreal is a food mecca. Our beloved city has the highest number of restaurants per capita in Canada, with just about any type of cuisine out there. With summer around the corner, we present you with our favourite fresh and healthy restaurants in Montreal.
With three locations across the island, Mandy’s is hands down the best salad bar in town.
From the decor to the food, Mandy’s is to die for. Don’t be fooled, the salads (served in plastic containers) are filling! Our personal menu favorites include the Raegan Danielle Salad and the Asian Salad. You can also build your own, but that always ends up on the pricier side (especially when you’re adding every cheese and protein on the menu). The variety of salads and dressings makes Mandy’s a true Montreal gem.
Lunch is served at #Mandys????? Come join us for your favourite salad, create your own or pick from one of our delicious signatures.. Side note, everything is Instagram-worthy.
Venice MTL is a charming new spot serving up California-style fresh eats in Old Montreal. We may not have the Venice boardwalk, beach and surf, but it doesn’t mean we can’t get some Cali vibes, does it?
If you’re looking for fresh food without compromising on atmosphere and coolness, then Venice MTL is the place for you. The Ahi Tuna Poke was our fave, served on a delicious rice cake with some yummy guac and a side of escapism! The tacos are killer too – try the fish.
Perfect for lunch or a first date! P.S. Try the tequila sunrise cocktail, it’s delicious!
This vegan diner-like joint is a classic. Situated on Boulevard Saint-Laurent, on the Plateau near all the action, Aux Vivres has become a Montreal staple.
From the fresh juices to the delicious vegan BLT made with toasted coconut slices, every meal is yummy and healthy. This is always a plus when you catch yourself asking for two desserts (and by two desserts, we mean order the brownies).
They also have a take-out counter! You can order and take your meal to-go, or simply walk-in and pick up your fave dressings and wraps in the fridge.
LA PANTHÈRE VERTE
Anyone who likes falafel will now have a new, favorite go-to spot at La Panthere Verte.
Everything is always fresh and there are lots of vegan options! We recommend the falafel and sweet potato salad, and of course a brownie for dessert. Each of the four locations has charming decor. Our personal favorite: Mile End.
